West Virginia University (WVU) has announced plans to serve up its AACSB-accredited Executive MBA (EMBA) program in an online flavor.

The new distance learning program starts next fall and will run for two years. Although the majority of the work is done online, four 3- or 4-day residences are required at WVU's campuses at Morgantown and Washington D.C. According to the school, these serve to build a connection to the school and to classmates.

Additionally, the program allows students to study abroad in Germany, Ireland, China, Poland, the Czech Republic, or Italy.
